This tune definitely has something – reminds a bit of the dreamy sound of Ireland’s Clannad and Enya.
I don’t recall having heard of Marissa Nadler before, so I sampled the remainder of the album on which that song appears. My challenge here is that all of the other tracks pretty much sound like “For My Crimes,” so things get a bit monotonous after a while.
That being said, Marissa’s music has something soothing and mysterious at the same time.

Have to admit I had only heard this song on a new music playlist and had not sampled rest of album. Will do some further listening with your caveats in mind.
