The Revivalists recently did a mini album, remixing songs from their last full length release at the legendary muscle Shoals studios in Alabama. An added bonus was this cover.

Just beginning to get into this band. So far I’m thinking a little bit of a Avett Brothers meets the Grateful Dead kind of vibe. Their most recent album is getting some play on the satellite radio station I listen to on Sirius. Here’s a live performance of one of the songs I really like.
Apparently this artist has been a bit of a cult favorite for a while and this was my introduction to him. Heard a review on NPR while I was driving my granddaughter around at 7 o’clock in the morning to get her to sleep. So far I think it’s brilliant
These guys have been a round for a while. They had a semi hit long ways back called Popular. Heard about their new album on NPR. I’ve listen to about half the album so far. Really liking it.
