Sometimes the thing I need the least in music is understated subtlety . Sometimes it just needs to be loud and hard . Who’s better at that than these guys?

AC/DC have proven time and again that rock music doesn’t need to be complicated to be great. This tune is a perfect example. The entire “Back In Black” album is one of the gems in their catalog.
There have been lots of rumors over the recent past there might be a new AC/DC album. If they somehow could bring back Brian Johnson, perhaps it could work. Supposedly, he was spotted together with ex-drummer Phil Rudd and guitarist Angus Young in Vancouver a few weeks ago.
I’m not wild about Axl Rose. While he is a great vocalist for Guns ‘N’ Roses, he’s just not a good fit for AC/DC and, I am sorry to say this, makes them sound a bit like their own cover band!

Agreed re: Axl….. very few bands can replace a lead vocalist and retain their identity. AC/DC notably pulled it off early on but it’s too late to do it again.

While it’s perhaps a bit frustrating for non-singing musicians who are largely replaceable, lead vocalists are nearly indispensable. Brian Johnson, when he was still in better shape, is one of the few exceptions, in my opinion.
I realize some hard core AC/DC fans disagree with me, feeling Bon Scott was irreplaceable.
