Not exactly one hit wonders but this band has been off my radar since their 1998 minor hit “The Way”. Here’s a recent release for your Monday morning.

While it is remarkable they are still singing about the way 20 years later, this tune isn’t as memorable as “The Way” – not a bad song though.
And, BTW, kudos to any band lasting that long. My all-time favorite band from Liverpool didn’t even reach 10 years!

Agreed! Also interesting how many bands can last decades sort of under the radar. When they have one hit and then fade from view, we assume they break up and stop recording, but so many go on to have long careers with loyal fan bases.

So true. Music really is a brutal business – one day you’re successful, next day you’ve been forgotten. While as a 20-year-old bassist I dreamed for a short time to become a pro, I’m glad it didn’t go further, as much as I love music!
