It seems like it’s been 100 weeks in a row of cloudy Sundays so when I woke up and saw the sunshine this morning I knew I wanted something a little more upbeat than my usual Sunday morning pic. This is the song from their 1987 album “By the Light of the Moon“ This was the album that introduced me to Los Lobos .

Love Los Lobos- saw them a couple times in concert years ago. It’s too bad they are most associated with their cover of La Bamba- a good cover and all but most people know them for that and not their outstanding body of work over the years. When I saw them- not long after La Bamba was a hit- they didn’t even play it!
