  1. I went to the same high school as Burton Cummings, crossing part of one year with him as I transferred in and he soon after dropped out. Many of his early songs, particularly His Girl, And She’s Mine, and These Eyes seemed to follow a romance I was having at the time. It was a wonderful time of life, even if it was imaginary.
