I agree it’s a fun and catchy song. Other than tune, I don’t think I know any other song from The Knack, even though it appears they have released a bunch of albums. So it looks like they’re essentially a one-hit wonder?

Paul here – I would tend to agree that they really only had the one album that got any attention, and the lions share of it was My Sharona. I remember it being the first song I recall where it was played so much that there was some backlash to it. The rest of that album I remember as being a pretty good power pop album, albeit with some somewhat juvenile lyrics. I only though they had one more album – will have to look that up.
