This is the song that sparked my interest in later year Richard Thompson music. I’ve passed up many chances to see him live. I hope I get another one.

He is touring behind his new album so maybe another chance! I was lucky to see him many years ago open for Lucinda Williams and he played 52 Vincent. Just amazing to see – you listen to the record and think there is no way he can be playing that guitar without any studio tricks – but seeing him doing it live and you then know why he has the rep he has
