Giving out candy, playing spooky music, and feeling inspired to post something appropriate. Can’t recall for sure, but believe this was on soundtrack of American Werewolf in London?

incredibly inventive group with some amazing videos. This video is pretty conventional for them but the song is really good.
A little quiet mystery for a Sunday morning. Marissa Nadler is an American singer songwriter who combines folk, pop, and gothic themes to great effect. In this song you are left to wonder what the singer’s crimes were….
Something to ease you into Sunday morning
If it weren’t for Frank Turner’s “Be More Kind”, I think this year for me, musically would be the year of Lucero. I’ve been diving deep into their catalog and I love everything I’ve heard. This song in particular from their album, 1372 Overton Park is fantastic.I’ve played it no less than 10 times in the last 24 hours. I’m getting looks from other drivers because of the way I’m waving my arms around when this song is playing.
I love the horns and it’s got a hook big enough to boat a marlin with.
It’s been that kind of a fucking week, so I needed this. (Apologies for the language)
Seeing John Hiatt tonight. This is my favorite cut off his new album The Eclipse Sessions. The man still knows how to write them!
This song popped up on Spotify the other day and reminded me how much I love it. Perfect combination of amazing guitar work, pithy lyrics that paint a vivid story and a tragic ending. One of my favorites.
A song that mostly sounds like 3 chords and average lyrics somehow burrows it’s way into your consciousness. Then when you think you’ve got it understood, it hits you with a truly great guitar solo. I’ve loved this song for almost 40 years
This band from LA worked on Tom Petty’s “Hypnotic Eye” and have been touted by Steve Van Zandt. Pretty good resume for any band!
